The Story of Duyen  and her brother are examples of what are considered severe disabilities, the type of disability that labels children as untouchables.  Here  in the US the remedy for cataracts is a simple surgery and is quite routine.  Not so in Viet Nam.   There are many other "orphans" that are separated from their families due to their "disabilities." Many are more complicated than cataract surgery.  We review many of  them and frequently are able to merge them into society.  We search out the best remedies so that the "orphan" children are allowed to return to their families, be productive and make their families complete again.

An ongoing case is Mr. Si, who is now awaiting  for further diagnostic work-up to remove a large shoulder tumor.

This surgery will enable him to lead a fully productive life.

Babies Hoat and Han each received Life-Saving heart surgery that wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

There are Doctors and Volunteers that work with us in Viet Nam as you see pictured.  Also, in the US we receive expert medical advice that helps us complete our goals for these children.  Additionally, we have many local volunteers that help  us to achieve our successes.

The article in the Seattle PI about our beginning raised awareness and began a flow of donations.

Then there are many wonderful  people such as you who  are moved to help our cause financially by donating to help the orphans of Viet Nam.
